Server Survivors

Every year, we kick off our match with an honorary first serve, dedicated to those impacted by cancer. Participation as a Server Survivor is FREE. To participate, registration is required.

Who Can Be a Server Survivor?

• Someone who is undergoing treatment for cancer.
• Someone who is now cancer free after battling cancer.
• Someone who is a family member or friend of a loved one who has lost the battle or is too ill to serve or is otherwise unable to serve.

What Does a Server Do?

• Hit an honorary first serve at the start of the match.
• No one has to be a tennis player — just toss the ball and hit it anywhere. Servers hit at the same time. Rackets and balls are provided.
